A Day Without God’s Word is a No-Day At All :-)

This 2012, I earnestly want to seek God and know His Word all the more. So, here

are my daily guides to for meditation. :-)

The One Year Devotions for Women

Our Daily Bread

Spiritual Disciplines

My NLT Bible

And my Daily Journal.

The Word of the Lord is very important in our lives. First, it provides light and comfort. Second, it is a sanctifying agent. Thirdly, it is a weapon use to advance the Kingdom of God, fight off temptation and casts out everything that is against the will of God.

The Bible says, “For the Word of God is living and powerful…” (Hebrews 4:12, NKJV)

I have been a Christian for almost 5 years now, but to be honest with, I haven’t finished reading the Bible yet. (I feel guilty about this). :( But by the grace of God, I will guard my Bible Reading Time and my Devotional Time for God. Its not because of the benefits I will get, but because I want to get serious with God and I want to be use by Him for His glory. This 2012, I ain’t gonna let the devil steal what God has stored for me this year - A Year of Exceptional Harvest.

Another struggle that I have right now is writing in my Journal. I stopped again. Last post was January 14, 2012. Lord please. I want the “COME. HEAR. DO”.

Please do pray for me about this. :-) And I hope that you too will read God’s Word everyday. :-) Let us strengthen our foundation through God’s Word and of course, to Obey God’s Word ASAP.

This Bible Verse is good for rebuke:

MATTHEW 7:24-27 TMSG

24”These words I speak to you are not incidental additions to your life, homeowner improvements to your standard of living. They are foundational words, words to build a life on. If you work these words into your life, you are like a smart carpenter who built his house on solid rock

25Rain poured down, the river flooded, a tornado hit—but nothing moved that house. It was fixed to the rock.

26”But if you just use my words in Bible studies and don’t work them into your life, you are like a stupid carpenter who built his house on the sandy beach.

27When a storm rolled in and the waves came up, it collapsed like a house of cards.”
